Improved Feature: Dropdown Icons in Navigation Menu

January 13, 20251 min read

Navigation bars allow you to guide audiences inside your websites and provide an easy way for them to find the information they need. Dropdown Icons help you direct attention and keep your navigation bar minimal while increasing usability.

⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You:

  • Dropdown Icon: Highlight items that expand or collapse by adding a clear icon that indicates it can be interacted with, including a smooth rotation animation.

    a
  • Link Support: The parent menu item can now support redirecting links without losing the expansion capabilities of the dropdown by using the icon.

    b
  • Easy Setup: The Style Editor Format is easy to follow, relying on a simple toggle under “Menu Items” to make the sub-menu parent item clickable and easily customize the dropdown icon.

⭐️How To Use Dropdown Icons in Navigation Menu?

  1. Open the Funnels or Website Builder and add the Navigation Menu element.

    1
  2. In the style editor, choose a drop-down icon by changing the property drop-down icon.

    2
  3. To make the Sub-menu trigger link clickable, click on 3 dots under the “Menu Items” property

    3
  4. Enable “Add Link" then add the URL and click submit.

We hope this addition to the Navigation bar creates interest in your pages while not overwhelming audiences with too many options. It should also clarify to visitors that this is an interactive element.
