Improved Feature: Phone System Improvements

Your phone system allows you to centralize communications within the system. From SMS to automated calls, we want you to be satisfied, so we’ve made a few small improvements that will improve your experience.

⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You?

  • Friendly Name: New phone numbers will have the name of the user who purchased them as their friendly name by default.

  • IVR Transcription: Enabling call transcription will cover all phone numbers with active call recording, including workflow/IVR calls.

⭐️How To Enable Call Transcription?

To ensure you can get all the information from your recorded calls, we have Call Transcription, which makes audio into a readable format. If this sounds useful, follow these steps to enable it.

  1. Head to the workflow builder and toggle Record Call on for all IVR actions.

  2. Navigate to the phone number settings inside your account, click the three-dot icon next to the phone number, and edit the configuration.

  3. Enable Call Recording for your phone number.

  4. Switch to the Advanced Settings section and open the Voice Calls tab.

  5. Head to the Voice Intelligence tab and check the box next to Enable Call Transcription.
