New Feature: Processing Fees in Store Checkout
A processing fee is a charge for handling a service or transaction. Including it in your stores helps ensure that you can cover administrative work, fraud protection, and network access. With this update, adding that fee is easier than ever. Let’s check how to use it!
⭐️How To Add Processing Fees in Store Checkout?
Go to the Settings tab inside the Payments section and select Miscellaneous Charges.
Enable Processing Fee.
Set the percentage and label name.
Ensure E-commerce Stores is selected, then click Save.
⭐️Why Is This Feature Beneficial To Your Company?
Integrated Fee Management: This allows you to add card processors or convenience fees; the charge appears as a separate line item during checkout and on the final order summary.
Customizable Details: Store admins can configure the percentage and label of the processing fee, helping you mold it to your needs.
Automated Rounding: All fees are rounded to two decimal places before being added to the total, ensuring smooth calculations and easy payment.
