Improved Feature: Zipcode Filter Selection for Shipping Zones
Every business has limitations when it comes to shipping and delivery, especially since certain local areas are too far for a specific price range. With this update, you can limit shipping zones by specific ZIP/postcodes for precise control. Let's check how it works.
⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You?:
Limit Shipping by Zipcode: Enter ZIPs directly using single codes, comma-separated codes, and a trailing asterisk (*) for wildcards.
Validation & Smart Feedback: Real-time validation detects invalid or duplicate ZIPs, prevents invalid characters, empty fields, or improper wildcard placement.
Enhanced Visibility: The Shipping Zones overview now displays all included/excluded ZIPs below each zone for quick reference, including clearly shown wildcard entries.
⭐️How To Use The Zipcode Filter Selection for Shipping Zones?
This update is simply an additional step you can take when creating your Zones. So, let’s quickly go over how it works.
Head to the Settings tab inside the Payments section and select Shipping & Delivery.
Begin creating a zone by selecting the “Add Zone” button located in the upper right section of this page.
Check the box next to Limit Shipping To Specific postcodes and enter your desired ZIP codes.
After completing this step, click the "Add" button to save your zone.
This helps your business enable hyper-local deliveries or exclude certain areas easily, resulting in better managed areas and easier price setting for your shipping. We hope you enjoy it!
