Improved Feature: Ability to Disable Community Profile
Having members complete their profiles when they first join a Community is great for easily identifying them. However, this required step upon entry can discourage some members. So, we’ve updated the settings to give you control. Let's check how it works.
⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You?:
Profile Requirement Control: Uncheck the box next to the option to allow members to participate in your community without filling out their profile.
⭐️How To Change The Profile Requirement Settings?
By default, your member will be required to complete their profile. You can change this by following these steps.
Head to the Communities tab within the Memberships section and log in to your desired group.
Click “settings” on the right side of your Community.
Enable or disable the “Show mandatory profile modal” option.
Click Save in the bottom right corner to set your changes.
This added control gives you the reins to control your community’s experience, ensuring you can create the perfect journey for your members and keep your branding present in all settings.
