The abandoned cart element allows you to reconnect with interested customers. Previously, the way it worked was limiting, as it could only be recovered if customers returned using the same device or session. Now, they are fully shareable and accessible across devices. Follow along to better understand it!
⭐️How To Use Shareable Links for Abandoned Carts?
A unique checkout link is automatically generated when a customer abandons their cart. If the Abandoned Cart Email is enabled in the Notifications tab of the Payments Settings, customers will receive this link via email.

Customers can open this link from any device and complete their purchase.

⭐️What Are The Rules Of This Feature?
One Link Per Abandoned Cart: Each URL is unique and represents a specific abandoned session. Only the products from that session will be shown. For guest users, a temporary session is created.
Inventory Updates: Price, name, and stock changes are reflected in the checkout. If any product is out of stock, a Remove Item CTA will be added; if none are available, a Continue Shopping CTA will be added instead.
No Edit Option: Users cannot modify the cart (for example, add new items) from the abandoned cart checkout link.
You don’t need to make any changes to the template you are using for your email notifications if they contain the custom value for the checkout page’s URL, since this will be automatically updated. If using the default template, this custom value will be added.
