Improved Feature: Layers in the Certificate & Badge Builder
We have rolled out a dedicated Layers panel in the Certificate and Badge Builder, so you can see stacking order, lock elements, and catch broken custom-field placeholders before publishing. Let’s learn how to use this update!
⭐️ How To Modify Layers in the Certificate & Badge Builder?
Head to the Credentials tab inside the Memberships section and open the Certificate or Badge Builder.
Select the Layers tab in the left sidebar.
Click the lock icon (1) to protect an element, or the trash can icon (2) to remove it.
Click rows to select, then drag to reorder them.
⭐️Why Is This Feature Beneficial To Your Company?
Improved Element Control: This familiar design-tool UX gives you faster template building and clearer control over overlapping certificate elements.
Error-Free Editing: Fewer accidental edits with lock protection, avoiding important elements from being moved, resized, deleted, or edited via shortcuts.
Easier Placeholder Management: If there are any invalid custom fields, you will get a message in a pill before publishing to help you catch broken placeholders before certificates are issued.
