Documents help you seal the deal with customers. However, sometimes deals don’t go through, so we’re glad to introduce the Decline Document option. To give you the ability to collect clear client feedback, improve follow-ups, and power automations. Come check it out!
⭐️ How Does The Decline Document Option Work?
When filling out a document, customers can click the three-dot icon to select the "Decline document" option.
A modal will open for them to submit their reasoning and decline the document.
In Workflows, if your selected trigger is Documents & Contracts, you can set the Decline status filter.
When inserting custom values into an email, you’ll have access to Document Decline Reasons and Document Decline Reasons Body to send personalized decline response emails.
⭐️Why Is This Feature Beneficial To Your Company?
Customer Feedback: Recipients can select a reason or add notes to reject a document. Helping you decide the next steps and plan for the future, rather than sit with an unfulfilled document and no response.
Rejection Management: If a document is declined, you can manage it with the help of workflows and custom values in the Email Builder. Making follow-ups easy, personalized, and fast.
Document Archival: Declined documents are tagged as “Archived” and can no longer be signed, with a full decline history visible in the dashboard.
Use rejection as a conversation starter, making it easier to manage client expectations and re-engage people who would have otherwise ignored your proposal. Leverage this new tool to grow your business.
